The fifth Global Business Anthropology Summit (GBAS) hosted by Chuo University and Research Group for the Anthropology of Administration (RGAA) was held in Tokyo, Japan, from June 14 to 16, 2025.
Thanks to all of you, we successfully concluded the first-ever GBAS held in the Asian region, with over 200 participants attending across the two days.
Throughout the summit, we had fascinating presentations and discussions in various sessions about the importance of anthropology and case studies that bridge business and anthropology. We also witnessed new connections being formed during the summit, and we hope this will serve as a catalyst for expanding the network of professionals involved in business anthropology.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your participation.
